Alia has been a committee member since 2020. She has been self-advocating all her life with her lived experience with Cerebral Palsy. Alia is passionate about disabilities and particularly advocating for other young people with disabilities ensuring their voices are amplified and heard. Alia’s passion for advocating for people with disabilities has further led her to study for a Diploma in Community Services which she will finish in 2021. Her aspirations include creating spaces for young people with disabilities so that they can also fulfill their dreams.
