Melissa has been on the Management Board for the past 15 years and seen EDAC expand its services statewide for people with disabilities in CALD communities. Melissa has an extensive history in advocacy work with migrants, refugees and humanitarian entrants, having worked in the not for profit sector, faith based agencies, Commonwealth, State and Local Government. In 2019, Melissa was elected Treasurer and utilised her business acumen and skills, in successfully negotiating the purchase of the new building. Melissa is of Italian background, has been a carer for both her parents, and passionate about supporting those most in need in our community.
