Ruth has extensive experience working with migrants and refugees, people with disabilities and their carers and Aboriginal groups. She currently works at the Department of Health promoting policies, practices, and services that build the WA health system’s cultural competency. Ruth facilitates ‘Health Equity Seminars’ and contributes to the achievement of equitable access and safe and quality care. Ruth is from a Filipino background and has a Master in Human Rights Practice.
