The Role:
The Kin Community Ambassador Program seeks to empower individuals with lived experience of disability from ethnocultural and linguistically diverse (ELD) backgrounds to become disability ambassadors within their communities.
Through training, mentoring, and peer support, ambassadors will strengthen their expertise and confidence in disability information advocacy. As trusted community members, they will use this expertise to support individuals in their community facing cultural or language differences, helping them access services, understand their rights, and navigate available resources.
Being a Kin Ambassador is a volunteer position aimed for people who want to learn new skills, help people in their community and connect with likeminded peers. It is completely free and open to anyone from a ELD background with lived experience of disability.
Join us today! Become part of a growing network that celebrates diversity, fosters inclusion, and empowers people with disabilities.

Speaker Requests:
Kin Ambassadors are passionate individuals with lived experience of disability from ethnoculturally and linguistically diverse (ELD) backgrounds. They share their personal stories to raise awareness, challenge misconceptions, and foster inclusive conversations about disability. Our ambassadors can speak at events, workshops, community forums and more, offering unique insights into navigating disability through diverse cultural perspectives.
