Today marks two months since we proudly launched the Goldfields Community of Practice (CoP) Hub for Disability Support Workers in Kalgoorlie!
The launch included two successful events featuring inspiring key speakers from the healthcare sector, along with individuals with lived experience as support workers or service users. These sessions offered a unique opportunity to engage directly with local support workers, hearing firsthand about their needs and aspirations for the CoP Hub.
We facilitated insightful discussions and interactive activities that allowed participants to share their thoughts and ideas. We’re excited to incorporate their feedback into the development of the program.

We’re also busy preparing a week-long forum in December, which will be filled with exciting events and opportunities specifically tailored for support workers.
