Community of Practice for Disability Support Workers

About the project:

Our Community of Practice project aims to build the capacity, learning and connections of Disability Support Workers in the Kimberley and Goldfields regions.

Working closely with local stakeholders, we are developing a professional development program of workshops for Disability Support Workers. The program content will be determined by local need and will complement the existing training available to Disability Support Workers.

Our aim is to offer an additional layer of support, helping Disability Support Workers to flourish in the role.

Project partners:

During this development phase, our project team is actively connecting with local disability organisations and related agencies in the Kimberley and Goldfields regions to explore potential collaborations.

The project is supported by the Department of Communities.
